Wedding Photographer Pendennis Castle

I had the pleasure of being a wedding photographer and videographer for Josie and Andrew’s big day at the beautiful Pendennis Castle and then later at this lovely cornwall wedding venue.

The day started with Josie getting ready at Chycara with her mum and all of her bridesmaids. Andrew had sent some morning entertainment for all the bridesmaids to complete; a 1000 piece puzzle of Pendennis Castle.

Andrew also requested that it was to be finished before they left for the wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, despite all of our best efforts, the puzzle wasn’t completed. Sad times.

Fortunately, there were bacon rolls on hand. Granted, this may have been a distraction from the puzzle solving.

The Ceremony

After Josie was in her wedding dress I travelled across to Pendennis Castle to get everything set up and ready to go.

I usually allow a at least 30 minutes to get both video and photography set up at the church or venue. I always make sure everything is in place and ready to go before the you walk down the aisle.

The Reception

After the ceremony it was time to head back to Chycara to get the party started. There were garden and lawn games including beer pong, welly wanging and hoopla! Plenty to keep the kids (and big kids!) entertained.

Dinner was a particular favourite of mine, fish and chips from The Little Fish Hut. Nothing like a portion of fresh fish and chips to wash down a few hours of photography and video.
